CPSN Member Spotlight: Samson Hailu

Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am charismatic, enthusiastic and creative.

I’ve been told I have a wicked sense of humour. My passions range from making music, to reading books, playing on my PlayStation 4 and spending time with friends and family.

I’m passionate about the rights of people with a disability because whether you have a disability or not, you should have the same rights as anybody else. You should be given the same opportunities as anyone else. Because of what I have experienced in my life, I will do what I can to make sure that everyone with a disability has equal rights and opportunities.

I have been a member of CPSN for about 4 and half years now. My experience with CPSN and has been a positive one. The staff are a delight to work with.

What I would like to see for the future of people with a disability is that they live happy and productive lives and live their lives the way they want to, have the same rights and be treated equally as everyone else and be afforded the same opportunities.
