Cancellation of Support Workers shifts

There may be times you need to cancel a shift at short notice. As per CPSN’s Home & Personal care Employees (casual), Victorian Workplace agreement (2006-2009)

Section 18 Duty and Responsibility of Casuals

18.6 The client/family shall give the employee a minimum of 3 hours’ notice to cancel an employee’s shift.

We understand at times this may not be possible. If the notice is under 3 hours you will be required to pay the Support Worker for a minimum of 3 hours.
