Vicki Cavalieros - Chief Executive Officer

Cerebral Palsy Support Network Vicki Cavalieros

As CEO, Vicki works with staff and the board to implement the organisation’s strategic plan which supports and empowers individuals with cerebral palsy (CP) and their families to maximise their choices and opportunities.

A founding member of the CPSN, Vicki is the parent of an adult with CP. Her personal experience, combined with her work with CPSN members, has given her a holistic understanding of the lives of individuals with CP and their families.

Vicki holds a background in management and business and has worked within the greater disability sector, supporting people with varied and multiple disabilities. In these roles she developed and implemented multiple services and programs and supported individuals with disabilities in their day to day activities and home environments.

In addition to these roles, Vicki has been a strong advocate for the rights and the representation of individuals with CP. She has served on the committees of several different organisations as both a parent representative and a professional within the sector, to ensure that the best interests of individuals with disabilities are met. 

 

 

Shannon Cheal - General Manager

Shannon’s background is in the non-profit and higher education sectors, working with schools and young people to support participation in education, training and employment. Shannon has studied social policy at post-graduate level, and her interests lie in work that creates life-giving experiences and opportunities for people.

As General Manager Shannon’s role is to support and coordinate the work of the team in delivering CPSN programs and services, manage the operations of the organisation, and to work with the CEO to implement the strategic plan.

 

 

Jeanette Ryan - Finance Manager

Jeanette has over 20 years finance experience working across several industries. Jeanette is a CPA qualified accountant and has a special interest in working for the not for profit sector and for the local community.  

Jeanette moved into the not for profit sector in 2014. In this role at CPSN, Jeanette provides leadership to the finance team and works with the CEO to ensure the financial viability of the organization and that the strategic goals are delivered.

Jeanette’s role involves continually monitoring and improving the financial processes and controls of the organization to ensure good governance and efficiency. 

 

 

Kristina Drmic - Support Coordination Team Leader

Cerebral Palsy Support Network Kristina DrmicKristina joins CPSN as the Support Coordination Team Leader, bringing more than 20 years of experience in customer service across the hospitality and transport industries.

She also has personal experience within her own family of disability, and truly understands the importance of having choice and control to lead the most fulfilling life possible. She is excited to lead the Support Coordination team and has the enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for client families, supporting all individual needs.

Outside of work Kristina is a travel enthusiast, an avid fan of watching basketball and enjoys time with family and friends. 

 

 

Sharon Marendaz - Client Resource Officer (HR)

Sharon profileSharon comes to CPSN with over 20 years experience in the airline industry, spending the last 10 years in Human Resources. Sharon has an extensive background in workplace training which included coaching and mentoring staff to further develop their skills.

Sharon has a passion for helping people achieve their goals, enjoys meeting new people and building strong relationships. Sharon is new to the Community and Disability Sector and will be coordinating the CP Innovative Choices program.

 

 

Jacqui Blunt - Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Cerebral Palsy Support Network Jacqui BluntJacqui has a broad range of experience with communications, marketing and digital media. She originally began her career in Australia’s radio industry working as a broadcaster and in content and event management roles.

Jacqui moved to the not-for-profit sector in 2014. In this role Jacqui is responsible for CPSN's marketing, communications and digital media.
